Born -October 29, 1990, Udaipur, Rajasthan
Major teams - India Under-19s, Rajasthan, Rajasthan Royals,RCA  Center of Excellence
Playing role - All rounder
Batting style - Left-hand bat:  
 Bowling style- Slow left-arm orthodox



A left-arm spinner, Ashok Menaria captained the India Under-19 team which toured Australia in 2009, recording a 2-1 win in the one-dayers. He was retained captain for the U-19 World Cup in New Zealand the following year. It was a disappointing tournament for India, going down to Pakistan in the quarter-finals. After the tournament, he bagged an IPL contract with Royal Challengers Bangalore.


He also led Rajasthan in the U-19 Cooch Behar Trophy and Vinoo Mankad Trophy in 2008-09. Menaria made his first class debut for Rajasthan the same season. Menaria's career choice is unusual, considering he hails from Udaipur's community of temple priests.

अखिल भारतीय मेनारिया ब्राह्मण समाज---Akhil Bhartiya Menaria Brahmin Samaj Bhagwan Parashuram, the sixth AVTAR of Vishnu is belongs to the Treta yuga, and is the son of Jamadagni and Renuka. Parashu means axe, hence his name literally means Rama-with-the-axe. He received an axe after undertaking a terrible penance to please Shiva, from whom he learned the methods of warfare and other skills. He fought the advancing ocean back thus saving the lands of Konkan and Malabar (Maharashtra - Karnataka - Kerala coastline). The coastal area of Kerala state along with the Konkan region, i.e., coastal Maharashtra and Karnataka, is known as Parashurama Kshetra (Parashurama's area). एलवा माता शक्तिपीठ

डूंगला कस्बे से तीन किलोमीटर दूर एलागढ़ की पहाड़ी पर स्थित एलवा माता शक्तिपीठ करीब आठ सौ वर्ष पुराना है। इस दर्शनीय स्थल स्थित बड़ की बारियों के बारे में मान्यता है कि इनकी परिक्रमा करने से स्वास्थ्य लाभ मिलता है। दोनों नवरात्र की अष्टमी पर यहां मेला लगता है। पहाड़ी के ऊपर से वागन बांध, बड़ीसादड़ी, बांसी, खरदेवला, निकुंभ की पहाडिय़ों का आकर्षण नजारा दिखता है। माता एलवा को हिंगलाज माई के दूसरे रूप में माना जाता है। इस मंदिर में एलवा माता की नयनाभिराम प्रतिमा के अलावा बावजी कुशानाथ की समाधि, अखंड धूणी, अंधेरिया ओवरा में नवचक्र, वट पुष्करणीय, शेषनाग की बांबी, ऐलागढ़ पर्वत की परिक्रमा प्राचीन दर्शनीय स्थान हैं। प्रत्येक रविवार को यहां श्रद्धालु माता का आशीर्वाद लेने पहुंचते हैं। मान्यता है कि यहां श्रद्धापूर्वक मांगी गई मन्नत पूरी होती है। नवरात्र में भजन संध्या समेत विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम होते हैं। एलवा माता मंदिर के पास अहीर, डांगी, जाट, गायरी, सालवी समेत अन्य समाजों की धर्मशालाएं बनी हुई हैं। पहाड़ के नीचे तलहटी पर महावीर एलवा गोशाला का निर्माण राष्ट्रीय संत कमलमुनि कमलेश की...
